The Carnegie Library opened in 1902 on the corner of 22nd Street and Capitol Avenue. While attending school at St. Mary's Sergent and Kishman became friends and would hangout after school at the Carnegie Library. Sargent said Cheyenne is where friendships blossom and bloom for a lifetime. Kishman said Cheyenne is her place. It has her history and her future.
