Rita Watson looks out a window onto Capitol Avenue from the second floor of the Hathaway Building last Thursday. "Cheyenne has allowed me to raise two children, have a 44-year career in state government, and be very active in the community. We belong to several organizations that have left a footprint in this city. One of the things I am proud of is helping the Love and Charity Club organize the annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. March to the Capitol and involving the students in all 48 school districts in the state in learning about Dr. KingÕs life and his contributions to this country. It has been a joy to me to watch the children go from not know anything about Dr. King to learning all about him and the many contributions he made to this country." said Watson about living in Laramie County. To participate in WTE Photo Editor Michael Smith's 2014 Our Faces: Portraits of Laramie County project, call to make an appointment at 633-3124 or 630-8388 or email msmith@wyomingnews.com.
