Avid birder Mary Ostlund sits by her favorite window at her home. Ostlund served in the Navy as a nurse and displays a flag 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to show appreciation for those serving in the military. "For a small city we have so many amenities . We have a great library, the Cheyenne Botanic Gardens are wonderful and Laramie County Community College is a great resource for us," Ostlund, who is a mother of eight children, said about what makes living in Laramie County special.
