“Ironhorse” J.P. Johnson – October 22

'Ironhorse' J.P. Johnson stands near the Big Boy 4004 locomotive in Holliday Park earlier this week. Johnson is a conductor with the Union Pacific Railroad and has lived in Cheyenne for the past two years. Johnson says being close to all the railroad history and Union Pacific's steam shop are his favorite things about living in Laramie County. "Not to many people get to work on the highest point on the trancontinental railroad, I wouldn't trade my job for anything," Johnson said.
